So I decided that I was going to try and start a system of using up my nail polish by using them in alphabetical order... (I'm crazy...)
And then every time I use one, I can buy a new one, yay! But only when I have to throw one out cause it's gone gross or has ran out (boo D:) although, this will only start when I have an good round number of polishes.

Which means it's spreadsheet time-yay! So I get to write out all of the colours I have, brand, shade, effect, etc. and I figured the easiest way to do this was to shove them all in a bag and start randomly.
This was a good idea, except using a superdrug carrier bag-not so much of a good idea. Wow, these things are heavy! Like heavier than the pile of school books I'm using at the minute! The carrier bag nearly broke-just look at this!

I swear this is heavier than around 75% of the tents we use at scouts- and some of those are pretty dang heavy.
My arm hurts now haha, so I'm off to go and write them into the spreadsheet-wish me luck, it might take a while!

I'll also make the spreadsheet into a list to pop on a page on here at some point this week so if there's ever any colours you aren't sure about and might want to see in swatch form then I can pop a picture on or send one to you!

How many polishes do you own!? I'd love to know-leave a comment!
And don't forget to follow by email, twitter, glipho, bloglovin or google+  :)

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …

I'm writing this whilst listening to the General Election results. I'm not going to get into politics here though, this is a safe politics-free zone!

I've been semi-missing the past few weeks, I know. Many apologies. However if you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen a couple of posts! And just in case you don't, here they are for you:

First of all actually, I had a little haul from BornPrettyStore, and bought the following stoofs:

And then did ma nails. (That's what I do here, generally after all).

Swatch Watch: Barry M Gelly 'Papaya'

Greetings folks,

Today's featured polish is one of my top picks for Summer pretty much every year. It's a Barry M Gelly polish, which I summarised all of the colours for (at the time) a few years back. You can check that post out here if you want to see the awesome variation of colours!

Papaya, however, is I think the first of the Gelly polishes I picked out. It's a pinky-orange/peach colour (wow, great describing skills, I know), that seems perfect for cocktails and beach-style weather. That weather is also known as Summer in most countries (and occasionally the UK). Of course, it has the beautiful gel-like shiny finish with it, which can be enhanced with a shiny topcoat, or even a gel-style topcoat if you want to go all out!

Most images in this post were taken with flash to try and capture the true colour of the polish. In some lights it looks more orange than peach, but I feel that all the images here show the true colour it appears in a few different light settings.
