Barry M Emerald Green

More green! There's so much green around here at the moment because not only is it a great colour, but I'm also considering it my "lucky colour" and I need all the extra luck I can get for my exams at the moment! Anyway, here is another swatch for you! :)

For colour and effect, I would definitely give this polish a 10/10, because it is just absolutely amazing! I'm not sure on durability as I've never actually worn it very long... but it's a Barry M one, so I'm gonna estimate at up to 5 days with *limited* chipping depending on your lifestyle!

I'll be uploading versions of the alpine snow swatches, and these emerald green swatches onto some sort of image-hosting site soon so you can click on them to go directly to the image from the Nail Polish list! And there'll be a new swatch and design tomorrow for you hopefully (And no more exams-yay!)
But for now, I'm just going to bombard you with lots of pictures now, because there's not really much more to say!

Oh, and I've taken pictures in different lightings so you can see the different metallicy angles :)

Hey look, it's the new site!

TURTLE! (I like turtles...)
I love turtles as much as I love green... You like green too, right?
Yes? Well then, that is all! Thanks for reading! :-) Make sure you come back again tomorrow!

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
