Shades: Crackle

Hello little paraders! :) Here is the post I've promised you a few times already (I'm not too good at keeping track of when I said things) and in this post guess what we've returned to? That's right, the amazing blue and Barry M (the 2 B's of the blog!)

So, this shade is "crackle nails" and I must say, I am a huuuuuge crackle-polish lover, and I think we should totally try and bring it back into fashion since it's kind of gone out of the world recently!
(Chant with me now...)
Bring it back....Bring it back... Bring it back... Bring it back...
(I feel like we should burst into song just about now, but I don't think I have a song to match, never mind!)
Anyway, the polishes I've used here are Barry M Gelly in Watermelon and Barry M Crackle Polish in White =)
All you do is paint your nails normally, before adding the crackle polish over the top, and then finish with a top coat once your crackle is dry. Voila! Quick and easy!
Enjoy the pictures :)

Barry M Watermelon Swatches!

OMG It's so messy! I really need to clean up before taking pictures!

What are your own thoughts on the crackle look? Will you be helping me to bring it back in style? :D

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
