Majesty: Barry M Textured Royalty Review

Barry M Royal Textured Glitter Collection Posts

Gold Majesty
Gold, frankincense and myrrh- what beautiful gifts fit for a King! But what would gifts would be given if Jesus was a 'she'? (Imagine how different the World could be if people believed that instead...? :O) Anyway, this polish, would definitely be a winner in my book! The Golden base colour is beautiful and the little flecks of golden glitter really help bring the polish to life as it shimmers in the light.
I have one itsy bitsy issue though... The removal. Wowch. For some reason, 'Majesty' has been the hardest one of these Textured Glitter polishes to remove to date. I've been using the same nail polish remover though, and still been using cotton wool balls instead of cotton pads. So why? Why, Barry M, WHY!?
Apart from this little fact of course, the nail polish is a beauty and definitely an asset to your collection, assuming you're going to wear it for more than the 20 hours or so that I myself did.
In some lights, the 'gold majesty' can even appear a silvery colour (you have been warned!) :)
Anyway, on with the picture show- enjoy!

You guys know the drill by now! These are the one-coats above, two coats below :)

Ta'daaa! Don't forget to tune in tomorrow for the final instalment of the Textured Glitter Royalty swatch and reviews, and also a few quick run-ins of what you can do with them!
:D
Bye for now!

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
