I am... a Baker!

(Or... at least, I'd LIKE to be!)
Baking is one of those really calming outlets for me- it's a great way to take out any frustration, or to do when you're bored (and you get some yummy food at the end, which is always a bonus!)

So, from baker to reader, I'm going to share some scrummy little images to you, and then depending on the popularity of this post, maybe a recipe some time in the future too! :)

Now, I am a sucker for Cinnamon Rolls- you just can't beat 'em! Especially when they're still warm, and have that crisp outside with the soft, flakey inside *drools*
Lemme show you what I got ahold of last week...

A Jus-Rol Cinnamon Swirls Bake-it Fresh Kit! OH YEAH!
Contains: The ready-rolled dough can and a pot of icing sugar

They even have little instructions on the box!
The can magically twists itself open and releases the dough!

Mmmm... Cinnamon Swirls...
Just begging to be chopped up! (Into six!)
And ready to hop off into the oven... To make.......
Golden Cinnamon-y Goodness<3
These were definitely one of the nicest things I've ever tasted- and were super duper quick and easy to do (less than 30 mins!) So you wanna know the price of Jus-Roll Cinnamon-Swirls-in-a-box?
TWO POUNDS. Just. £2. Two. Pounds.
That's like... 33.3333333333333 (etc.) pence per roll/swirl/whatever you wanna call them. So worth it! *drools*

Anybody else just love a good cinnamon roll?
*runs off to get another box of ready-to-bake stuff*

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …

I'm writing this whilst listening to the General Election results. I'm not going to get into politics here though, this is a safe politics-free zone!

I've been semi-missing the past few weeks, I know. Many apologies. However if you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen a couple of posts! And just in case you don't, here they are for you:

First of all actually, I had a little haul from BornPrettyStore, and bought the following stoofs:

And then did ma nails. (That's what I do here, generally after all).

Swatch Watch: Barry M Gelly 'Papaya'

Greetings folks,

Today's featured polish is one of my top picks for Summer pretty much every year. It's a Barry M Gelly polish, which I summarised all of the colours for (at the time) a few years back. You can check that post out here if you want to see the awesome variation of colours!

Papaya, however, is I think the first of the Gelly polishes I picked out. It's a pinky-orange/peach colour (wow, great describing skills, I know), that seems perfect for cocktails and beach-style weather. That weather is also known as Summer in most countries (and occasionally the UK). Of course, it has the beautiful gel-like shiny finish with it, which can be enhanced with a shiny topcoat, or even a gel-style topcoat if you want to go all out!

Most images in this post were taken with flash to try and capture the true colour of the polish. In some lights it looks more orange than peach, but I feel that all the images here show the true colour it appears in a few different light settings.
