Colour Me Crazy: Yellow!

Hello!
This post really should've went up yesterday.... but I forgot to write it! So here goes, hope you're having a good weekend!

Today's I'm covering the next prompt on the British Nail Blogger's "Colour Me Crazy" challenge! This week it's Yellow!

I bought this new Ciate polish the other day (for £3! Woop woop!!) and really wanted to try it out- turns out it pairs very nicely with a yellow, so today's mani is a rather simple one.

The yellow polish is a bright, but not too in-your-face canary yellow, and it is literally one of the best yellows I've ever used. I love it so much.

As you can see above, this is a Nails Inc yellow polish, called "Carnaby Street" (I keep going to call it "Canary street" though!) But yeah- I love it so much!

As for the Ciate polish, it's a red-purple based polish with lots of teeny red, copper and gold glitter speckles in it. It kind of reminds me of spices, like cinnamon, and Christmas, and sunsets all wrapped into a polish.... I think it's made my favourites list.

So this Ciate polish is called "espadrilles", which according to Google is a type of shoe...
Anyway, if you ever see this polish, I suggest you buy it because it is stunning.

And that's all for today!
Enjoy your weekend, and I'll see you all on Monday!

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
