Wail: Avon Sequinned Turquoise

Happy Wednesday everybody! I hope your week is going great, or if it isn't, then I hope that it gets better for you!
Maybe reading this post will just do the trick to keep/put you week in happy mode?
I bring with me a polish from Avon today- behold, the "Sequinned Turquoise" polish!

So the light certainly plays tricks with this  polish- it really isn't as sheer as it looks in all the photo's, it's just really reflective (I promise!).

The polish is basically made up of many tiny turquoise glitter pieces in a solution of a sheer turquoise gelly. It's easy to remove still though, which is always a bonus.
You can see on the pics that the tips are wearing away a little- this was after around 2 days of wear, which isn't too bad really!

Again, it looks kind of streaky, but it really isn't! It's a really beautiful shiny, sparkly turquoise polish that would be an awesome addition to your collection- so check your Avon catalogue next time you get one!
(Here's a quick pic with no flash on)

That's all from me for today, so I shall see you all tomorrow (Yes, tomorrow! I have a surprise for you all!)
Thanks for reading!

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally, the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post!

Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
