Wail: Ciate Knickerbockerglory!

Hey everyone!
Hope you're all having a decent week so far- only a couple of days til the weekend!

I mentioned this polish to you last Friday, as it came in my October Glossybox! (Though I was disappointed at the fact that it was pink...)

Ciate's Knickerbockerglory is not only a mouthful to say, but it's also a deep pink with a playful hint of red. It actually has a surprising shine to it too- all pics here are two coats of polish, without a topcoat!

Can we also just take a second to appreciate Ciate's gorgeous packaging!? Look at the adorable little bow! It makes me want to paint bows on my nails!

The formula for this polish was very smooth and easy to apply, which is always a bonus!
Here's a couple of pics with the flash on for you guys too! As you can see, it makes the pink a little more vibrant.

And that's it! That is Knickerbockerglory from Ciate- a deep, but vibrant, pink polish, which is perfect for all you pink-loving gals!

I hope you enjoyed the swatches of this polish, and check back on Friday for another swatchy swatchy!
Have a great rest-of-week and I shall see you then!

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
