New Layout!

Hey everyone!
As you can probably (hopefully...) see, I spruced up the blog's design a little! I'd love to know what you think, so please do leave comments below, and click "Read More" to check out exactly what's new and where to find everything.

First of all, the most obvious thing here, is that the background is different. I picked up a free one from ShabbyBlogs.com and I'm personally loving it at the minute! Hopefully you're picking up on the blue/green theme I'm trying to stick with here.

One of the more important changes is how you can set which posts to look at. I had a fiddle around with the menu, and it now drops down in places. So now you can hover over "Nails" and choose between "All Nails", "Polish List", "Summaries", "Swatches" and "Tutorials". "Nail Art", "Post Sets" and "Life" are now categorised better too, into more drop-down menus. Yay!

There's also the new "Read More >>" option when scrolling through the main pages, so you can decide if you actually do want to read that post or not.

I also grabbed some new social media icons in some pretty pastel shades, which you can find in the right-hand sidebar and also the main ones (Bloglovin, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) at the bottom of every post.

Aaaaand, finally (I think), I got round to adding the nail-polish-parade post dividers to tie the whole place together.

I hope you like the new layout- I certainly do!
See you tomorrow for a naily-fun post.

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally, the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post!

Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
