Introducing nailpolish.co.uk!

Hellooooo everyone!

Long time no see, but I have (at last) returned, yay! And not only have I returned but I've teamed up with a rather exciting website- nailpolish.co.uk - which will be featured for the whole of this week as they sent me some extremely nice looking items that I can't wait to share with you all :)

---serious paragraph---
Also, after this week there's gonna be a bit of a change up to the site- that is, I'll be posting once per week. As the opportunities (time-wise) arise I may post twice a week, but as I figure out where to fit everything into my life again I'm cutting it down to one, I hope you all understand!
---seriousness over---

Back to nailpolish.co.uk - here is the package in question that I was definitely more than happy to receive! I was actually having a really terrible day until I arrived home to find this waiting for me - especially since all I was expecting was two bottles of nail polish. So thank you so much indeed!

Packaged very nicely into the box was:
Elegant Touch's Nail Apothecary 04 "Toughflex Base Coat"
Elegant Touch's Professional Cuticle Nipper
A pack of Nail Art brushes! (you can never have too many)
The Edge's Metal Cuticle Pusher
MoYou London Tropical Stamping Plate 12
MoYou Stamper/Scraper set
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
OPI Sleigh Parking Only
OPI Comet in the Sky
Aaaand to top it all off, a packet of Love Hearts

Here's a quick close-up of the two OPI polishes for you, which will be perfect for the winter nights that will be here very very soon. These two beauties will also be the first items to get featured this week, so keep your eyes peeled for their post!

And on that note, please feel free to tell me what you want to see around here, and be sure to check out all of the social media links to both my accounts, and to nailpolish.co.uk's accounts, and I will catch you all very soon! :)

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally, the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post!

Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

Swatch Watch: OPI 'Sprung'

Greetings!

Wooo time got away from me for a couple of weeks. Has it really been so long already? My apologies to any of you who have been eagerly waiting for new swatches (I know I have)! To make it up to you I've got a swatch for you today which, in my opinion, is pretty "in season" right now. I'm talking about the Rose Gold trend that's been going on for a year or two now - who would of known it would become so popular?

Today's nail polish is: OPI 'Sprung'. It sounds like it should be a spring green kinda colour... but nope! This polish is a beautiful rose-gold kind of colour with a perfect amount of shimmer to be classy and sophisticated. Don't believe me? Here it is!

Fact File:
Brand: OPI
Polish Name: Sprung
# of coats: 3 + (applies quite thin)
Finishing Texture: Smooth, shimmer
Cost: £3.10 at the time of writing, on tnbl.co.uk

So I paired this polish with this gel-finish dotty topcoat... thing. That sadly, has no name, and was bought by my roommate…

Avril "Mille et une nuits" #32*

*This post contains an item sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Here it is a nail polish by Avril, called "Mille et une nuits" - No32.

Hello folks!

How are you all doing? How am I doing? Where am I? Who am I? So many questions...

To answer a few... I hope you are doing fine.
Yes, I am fine thank you.
I am in England, once again. For a long while this time.
I am Rachel, as always. And I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple of months.

The past 2 weeks I have spent job-searching (with success, yay!), catching up on Suits, and binge-watching Scandal. I want you all to go and do some homework and watch Scandal so I have somebody to talk to about it. Seriously.

Anyway, a few months ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by Avril - a french beauty brand which pride themselves on not testing on animals, and ensuring any of the ingredients used are also not tested on our furry friends. I highly respect this, and think that all companies should follow their …
